The ACS Chambers for solar simulation tests allow the specimen to be subjected to tests that simulate the effects of sunlight. Performance, insulation, noise, and resistance to physical and mechanical losses are just some of the parameters tested. Exposure to sunlight can in fact damage the products, reduce their performance and shorten their service life.

ACS is able to offer customized solutions thanks to its more than 60 years of experience in designing customized environmental simulation chambers, its technical know-how and the close attention given to the requests of all our customers.

The models of the standard line of ACS solar light test chambers, described in detail in the technical data shee, are available in the standard, energy saving and 5K/min versions.

Solar simulation test chamber with a structure for simulating the changing of natural sunlight during the day

  • Temperature range: -40°C / + 85°C
  • Rate of temperature change (average values with load):
    • 1°C/min heating from -40°C to +85°C
    • 1°C/min cooling from +85°C to -40°C
  • Humidity range (without load in movement): 30% to 95% R.H. (adjustable) in the range +10°C / +50°C
  • Inside working dimensions: 152 m³
  • Outside dimensions: 5300 x 9150 x 4100 mm (L x D x H)
  • Irradiation spectrum: the irradiation provides a daylight spectral distribution

The solar simulation system provides a realistic simulation of natural sunlight. The lamp system guarantees a daylight spectrum distribution and ensures a highly realistic simulation of the path, spectrum and uniformity of the light.


SOFTWARE:

The software for this type of chamber is an application that includes all the functions based on the specifications requested by the customer. The chamber has a built-in control panel for controlling and managing its functions. The chamber can also be controlled remotely using the WinKratos software or an equivalent application.
